I guess I've been too complicated, yet again.
How about if I put it this way:
Q: What's the point of fighting all the way on small injustices?
A: What's the alternative?
Folk, the way you treat one another ... as though you're all salespeople, sell sell sell, glib charm, phoney schmooze ... it can't suprise anyone that everyone is sick.
Think of it like this: you're geared up and equipped to pass as much through your system as you can. 35 IMs rather than 2 IRC conversations, untold number of text messages rather than a handful of email, and on and on and on, movies, videos, games, music, a constant flow.
And stuff ... stuff stuff stuff, clothes, gear, toys, tools ... stuff.
And food.
My god ... you're all in such a rush because you're insanely carnivorous.
Bottom line: assholes very often don't realize that they're assholes.
Go figure.

I don't enjoy living in a world peopled by greedy assholes.
And then there are folk like Ganika.
